Yeah, I'm really hoping that on the 30th we'll see a whole series of driver releases from the companies that we bought our hardware from. :-)

I'm actually having a little trouble with my setup. I've now upgrade that machine to Vista, and unfortunately, ATI still hasn't released gold drivers for Vista, and I'm leary to install beta drivers on my production system. So I've been unable to get my displays configured the way I need them. (I'm just running of the center screen right now.)

Yeah, that's one of the reasons why I opted for two 24's instead of one 30...I still love your setup though. ;-)

The only drawback to the one 30" is a little more of a manual process to arrange the monitors. I like being able to drag a window to a monitor, maximize it, and be done with it, as opposed to manuall sizing the windows or having to minimize unwanted windows so I can automaticall tile the couple that I want.

Jason's right. At my workplace we are given two 24"ers. Dells, as a matter of fact, and both of mine are flawless. :P Anyway, that is already on the verge of being too large for me. Three would be impossible. Rather, what I want is one 30"er. 2560x1600 in one screen would be awesome, and a smaller field of view to boot.

Triple? Nah. That would be too much. As it stands now, two 24 inch monitors are at the threshold of what will fit easily in front of me, and what can be dealt with visually. Three monitors would result in one in the middle, squared off, and one on each side, angled toward me. The angle would have to be so sharp to fit in the space I have that it would be hard to see. I really do think 48 inches of monitor is enough for me (famous last geek words).

"I’m still waiting for the Velocity Micro system to come back to me, and ditto for my XFX 7600GS for the Shuttle, so I can’t run dual monitors on that unit yet either."

Only considering a dual monitor setup? You know you have to go tri-monitor to satisfy your inner geek. :P
