Look Up “Wasted Effort” in the Dictionary…

…and you’ll see a video I created that took over an hour to render on my overclocked 2.8 Ghz Quad Core machine, at the end of which I noticed the mis-spelling of the word “Premium”. Time to re-render. Sure makes me wish Adobe Premiere Elements 7 had a spell-checker!

Ya know… I’m wondering if this isn’t some kind of freudian, new parent-to-be, kind of slip…’Pre-Mum’????
How’s Ashley doing??

Actually, an hour for rendering isn’t all that bad, from my point of view…. most of my rendering work (under PE 6.0, tho) takes over 8 to 10 hours for 2 hours of DVD-quality. Mind you, I’m running that on a OLD, single processor P4-2.33Ghz unit running WinXP.

Don,
As for rendering video, it took about two hours actually, but that’s 720p video. I remember the days of 8-10 hours and I never want to go back to them, but I desperately want to render a 10 minute video in 10 minutes.
Haha – that’s a pretty funny interpretation of my typo.
