Since my past 48 hours have been pretty hellish (and the smell of burning flesh continues), I needed a laugh and found it in this incredibly campy video that’s being featured on the YouTube home page.
If you can stomach it, pay attention at the 1:16 mark where the woman wearing green practically vanishes. Hilarious! Didn’t the people making this know that if you’re doing a green screen video, your actors shouldn’t wear green? 😉 In other parts her legs look like they’re stuck in a transporter from the original Star Trek series. I can’t tell if this is a parody of some of the political videos we’ve seen (such as from Obama Girl) from or a truly earnest but off-key group of ladies who really do support McCain. Politically, I lean more toward the right, but with friends like these, McCain doesn’t need enemies. 😉 Earnest and quite musically good? Found here. I was always quite impressed by Huckabee.
American politics are so much more interesting than Canadian politics!

I saw this commercial for the first time tonight, and my friends and I were laughing hysterically – we watched it twice and laughed harder each time. I just watched it again now, laughing until I had tears in my eyes, and Ashley just looked at me strangely and only laughed at how hard I was laughing. I guess this speaks to my sense of humour. 😉

Whenever I need a laugh, I turn to Miss Teen South Carolina and her stirring response about “US Americans” and map reading. This clip never fails to give me a chuckle!
Some of the comedic responses, like Miss Teen South Carolina calling 911, are almost as funny. 😉
This made me laugh so hard…probably because I’ve always been interested in martial arts and have been known to throw high kicks nearly as bad as these. 😉 I think it’s a spoof inspired by the clip at the 58 second mark (which make me laugh the hardest) because the background changes. On the other end of the spectrum, you have these incredible jumping guys and of course the jaw-dropping talents of Tony Jaa (warning, the clip is violent).
